  • The Paper Calf.

    Society is today a laugh,
    Billions worshipping the paper calf,
    And these billions won’t respect,
Anyone who does paper not collect,
As all are expected to aspire,
    To more and more acquire.

The masses think that life does bless,
    Those who paper do possess,
And so with crowns they all them dress,
    And as paper adds attractiveness,
The Papered Ones leave many quite breathless.

But do some wait for Moses with his staff,
    To smite the paper calf,
Which causes many to think it neat,
    To for paper others cheat,
Or make many feel quite ill,
And at times even others kill?

But perhaps the calf is here to stay,
    To forever lead the way,
    And cause untold dismay,
With the promises it does betray,
    By causing disarray,
Where once the many thought to play.

    Will it darkness bring,
With the song which it does sing?
    Will it the sunshine curse,
And to the winds all joy disperse?
Will it the soul from humans wrench,
And in its place leave just a stench?

  • Where’s Our Referendum?

    Gordon Brown,
    The Saviour of our world,
    His head stuck up,
    His you-know-what.
    Today did talk a lot,
    But the ponce is,
    Such a crashing bore,
    We safely all,
    Can him ignore.

  • New Labour.

    New Labour.

    Does not the point belabour,

To them the Queen’s a parasite,

    But wondering of their might,

    And wanting to elections win,

They’ve depended on the ‘sorry’ spin,

  • New Labour

    New Labour politicians,
With their graces and their airs,
    Their heads stuck up,
    Their you-know-where’s,
    Had for gambling a plan,
Which was in fact a scam,
Now daily more and more are going broke,
And this the fires does stoke,
As so many who have nothing left to lose,
May well the way of violence choose,
As they the government will blame,
For legalising a game said to be tame,
But this law does so many dispossess,
Our realm now is full of stress,
Which might at any time erupt,
    And great plans disrupt,
For it seems New Labour quite corrupt,
Did many in this realm bankrupt.

(Of course the above doesn’t count the people with alcohol problems acquired through New Labour’s liberalisation of the drinking laws. In the eyes of many, the government wouldn’t have liberalised these laws unless it was safe to do so. Don’t they talk about banning dangerous cigarettes and improving road safety laws all the time? Why would they introduce laws which actually encouraged the less wary to damage themselves? Try buying a packet of cigarettes and the government is going to make sure you know every possible danger you face, so wouldn’t they do the same for gambling and drinking?)

  • Corporate Cons. How the Business Community is Taking Consumers for a Ride.

    Corporate Cons,
    How the Business Community
Is Taking Consumers for a ride,
    Trouble spells,
    As it tells,
Of how every rich man longs,
    For continuity,
So they can workers sit astride,
    And champagne then sip,
    While they workers cruelly whip.

    Written by John Shaw,
This book tells how the rich at all us gnaw,
    And try everything to take,
So they can big money make.

But alas it seems to many the solution,
    Is only revolution,
In which the corporate rich are put against a wall,
    In a toilet stall,
    So the lot,
    Can be shot,
    Because from time to time,
    A society with spine,
    Must clean its own house,
    And itself delouse.

At times the author does get somewhat passionate about what he writes about and this can be off-putting to some. But I found this book to be a most interesting read and thought the chapter on charities was fascinating.

For example. Charities keep telling us they need money but it seems they all have oodles of dosh which they mostly use to pay their executives huge salaries and fabulous bonuses.

  • Hollywood Interrupted.

    Hollywood Interrupted,
    Tells of a place corrupted,
    A place without sense,
Where the people are all dense,
    Andre Bretbart and Mark Ebner,
    Neither one a pardoner,
Talk of Hollywood, a psychiatrist’s bazaar,
As there all completely bonkers are,
    Their heads in celluloid,
This to their brains a haemorrhoid,
And so it is their state,
    Themselves to greatly rate,
Yet though to themselves the highest of the high,
They must in the ratings daily higher fly,
So with views they daily need,
    For popularity to plead.

    In Hollywood Scientology naturally succeeds,
Because it the crackpot line exceeds,
And appeals to those with half a brain,
Who can n’er a thought retain,
Read this book and see Hollywooders have scrambled eggs for brains,
And in the you-know-where are pains.

  • Are Barclays bankers Satanists?

I think they are and feel that it was an outrage for one for them to go into a Church and say that they weren’t.

A Satanist has a moral obligation to lie to others, to deceive them and to cheat them out of their money whenever possible.

Barclays Bank has lied to its customers.

Barclays Bank has deceived its customers.

Barclays Bank has cheated its customers out of money. (I know this one because I was a customer of Barclays Bank for many years. So long in fact that when I finally left, it felt like I was cutting off my right arm. But they were cheats, and much as I wanted to stay with an organisation which had been a part of my life for so long, I really had no option but to leave. Just because a cheat stays within the letter of the law, it doesn’t mean they aren’t cheats.)

Consequently if Barclays Bank fulfils the criteria which defines a Satanist, shouldn’t good Christians refrain from banking with them?

  • Dealing with The Credit Crunch.

The government when dealing with the Credit Crunch,
Needs to tax things a bunch,
    So more V.A.T.,
    We should therefore see,
    On magazines and newspapers,
For though they think themselves our shapers,
    They entertainment only are,
Of celebrity and gossip a bazaar,
So the government should not be lax,
And to media magnates take the axe.

V.A.T. should be on books as well,
And government all arguments should quell,
For publisher to readers are unfair,
And charge what it will the market bear,
And so vat upon a book,
Would not expense for readers cook,
    As anyone can deduce,
    Profits publishers will must reduce,
And the government would more taxes take,
And this life for all would easier make,

It’s fair newspapers should have on them vat,
As the tycoons are far too fat,
And they also prices can’t increase,
    As that circulation would decrease,
And advertisers would have less to pay,
    As that’s the media way,
So if books and newspapers had V.A.T. the same,
It would help the greedy tame,
So I call on writers to unite,
    And the underpayers bite.

  • Why it's time to put up the shutters and trust no one.

In today’s European Union everyone supposedly has the right to pursue the religion of their choice and also to follow its dictates, provided those dictates do not conflict with EU legislation.

Consequently, if someone would like to be a Satanist, they are legally entitled to be Satanists. The fact that this religion encourages people to lie, cheat and steal and also to grab for themselves whatever they can is not a concern of the EU because under EU legislation, people who choose to believe in this are perfectly entitled to.

In consequence, as there was nothing illegal in the misselling of insurance policies it is impossible to tell a Satanist who missold an insurance policy that they had done something wrong. They were, after all, according to their religion, doing the right thing. In fact, in any court, any misseller of insurance policies who claims that because they are Satanist and the misselling insurance policies is a religious obligation, would have to be allowed to leave the courtroom without a stain on their character.

Also, the fact that any true Satanist believes in breaking any EU law if they can get away with it is also non of the EU’s business because, every person has the right to follow the religion of their choice.

So, we now know that a Satanist will feel morally obliged to lie to you, try to cheat you and also try to steal your property if they think they can get away with it, and, according to EU legislation, you can’t discriminate against a Satanist just because they are a Satanist. You can’t even warn your neighbours of the dangers they face because it’s blackening the Satanist’s character without legal proof of wrongdoing.

Getting away with it is a good Satanist’s creed and remembering that when it comes to defrauding others, the EU courts in this country have to prove intent to deceive, to many of the more savvy Satanists, defrauding you and stealing your property is likely to be a breeze. Best of all is the fact that because the EU prosecutors can’t prove intent, there’s nothing you, the victim, will be able to do about it.

  • The EU now has no moral legitimacy.

The EU, in fact, does not have the moral right to rule over free born Britons.

The election of New Labour at the last election was conditional on the promise that we would have a referendum on the EU Constitution/Treaty. The people would be allowed to have their say.

However, with some fancy footwork New Labour broke its promise to the voters. As a result of the election pledge it did not have the moral right to sign the Treaty of Lisbon without a referendum.

The result of this is that now, the police, the judges and the prison guards have the legal right to force everyone here to obey laws which are, in essence, simply extensions of EU legislation, but they don’t have the moral right to do so.

A policeman nowadays is nothing but an EU alsation whose well paid job is to ensure that we all obey the dictates handed down from Brussels.

What is morally right and what is morally wrong?

If the ex-government of this country was unable to differentiate, one can rest assured that the new government with its Berlusconi types certainly doesn’t.

If our local legislators in Westminster and the government in Brussels don’t know what is morally right or wrong, why should the people be expected to know?

There is no right or wrong any more. In modern society there is only EU legislation and the policeman’s ability to enforce the decisions of his masters in Brussels.

  • What’s the Footsie really worth?

Although the FTSE 100 now stands at 5041 which is a great improvement on last year, when one considers that a great deal of the money the government has printed has found its way into the stock market, a figure of 5,041 may not show the true worth of the market.

Consequently, to find out what the market is really worth it might be an idea to use the gold comparator.

For example on January 3rd, 2006 the market stood at 5,618 while gold was £300 per ounce.

Now, if we take a point in the Footsie to equal a pound we can say that on January 3rd, 2006 the Footsie was worth 18.72 ounces of gold.

However, today the FTSE 100 was at 5,041 and gold stood at £657.91 and that means that today, the Footsie is worth only 7.66 ounces of gold and that is a tremendous collapse from the high in 2006. 18.72 to 7.66!!!!

If you use a silver comparator you will find much the same kind of thing.

According to the gold comparator, for the market to be worth today what it was worth on January 3rd, 2006, the Footsie should stand at around 12,316!!!!!

It’s amazing what spin doctors can do with a bit of quantitative easing.

    ---

Imagine things would be more interesting if jounalists started using a gold or silver comparator to keep us abreast of the state of the economy. It might even be fun if they used the Mars Bar comparator as that had quite an established record before they started changing the size of a Mars Bar.
